Quick answer
The Witching Hour Gilded Suspense deck is a hand-made, 1 of 1 mixed process deck from Fulton's Playing Cards, ideal for serious collectors seeking a one-of-a-kind Halloween-themed artifact.
What is a mixed process deck?
A mixed process deck combines multiple artistic techniques in a single creation. The Witching Hour Gilded Suspense deck uses hand-painted backgrounds with sealed comic book illustrations hand-applied, making each deck a unique collage.
Why 1 of 1 matters for collectors
A 1 of 1 designation means no other deck is identical. For collectors, this exclusivity adds significant rarity and personal value. The deck is hand-signed by Brad Fulton on the side of the tuck box, further authenticating its uniqueness.
Trade-offs of a hand-made deck
Because each deck is individually crafted, minor variations in paint application or illustration placement are normal. This is not a mass-produced item, so expect slight differences that add to its character but may not suit those seeking perfect uniformity.
Decision rules for the Witching Hour Gilded Suspense deck
- Buy if you value uniqueness: This is a 1 of 1 deck, so you own the only copy of that specific combination of illustrations and paint.
- Buy if you appreciate hand-made craftsmanship: The deck is entirely hand-made by Brad Fulton, using vintage comic books and hand-painted backgrounds. Expect minor variations that add character.
- Skip if you need a standard, uniform deck: This is a collector's item, not a daily player. The hand-made nature means no two decks are identical. Consider a standard Fulton's deck for consistent handling.
