One of the most sought after collectibles In the world of Playing Cards. These were the last card clips produced by the legendary Joe Porper in Los Angeles, California. Few exist—only 7 were ever made and cannot be produced by the legend Joe Porper again. Etched Clip Joint Border in white on anodized black metal.
Got number 5 of the 7 ever made, and the heft in hand tells you why these are so hunted. Aluminum body, tight spring tension, cards sit flush with zero rattle. Didn't think I'd care about a clip this much.
The machining on this clip is unreal — the edges are rounded perfectly and it grips a deck without leaving a single mark. Mine is number 4 of 7, and knowing it came out of his LA shop makes it the centerpiece of my collection.
Knowing only seven of these were ever made makes the weight of the thing feel different in your hand. The machining is flawless, and the way it clamps a deck without denting the edges is something I didn't expect from a clip. Genuinely glad I grabbed one before they vanished.
