An ode to Los Angeles’ Chinatown. This deck was produced to commemorate the Year of the Dragon in 2012 and the amazing aesthetic of Chinese American Chinatown design.
Very few of these from the archives exist.
The gold foil accents on the card backs catch the light in a way photos don't really capture, and the tuck box feels sturdier than most decks I've handled. Snagged one of the last archive copies, glad I didn't wait.
I bought these to commemorate the Year of the Dragon and the Chinatown aesthetic is captured perfectly in the card backs. The tuck box has held up well after a few months of play, and the archive rarity makes them a nice piece to own.
The gold foil details on the tuck really pop in person, and the card backs capture that classic Chinatown aesthetic perfectly. It’s a beautiful piece of 2012 history that I’m glad I snagged before it disappeared from the archive.
